Thee Oh Sees

Known for their energetic shows, lo-fi grit and crazy output, The Oh Sees lead by John Dwyer (CoachWhips, Pink and Brown) started as a side project but over the years has grown into a full band. Thee Oh Sees kick off an Australian tour later this month. One stop of note is All Tomorrow’s Parties with My Bloody Valentine, Godspeed You! Black Emperor and more.

Deerhunter’s 2008 Kranky release Microcastle is a haunting and beautiful stream of consciousness. “Never Stops” definitely finds it’s way onto my playlist of favs of the past decade.

Black Moth Super Rainbow’s “Born On A Day The Sun Didn’t Rise” – Brings to mind the Flaming Lips and Mercury Rev which makes sense since producer Dave Fridmann is behind the knobs. The new album “Eating Us” comes out 5/26
